My great aunt, Frances Bay, now in her mid-80's and confined to a wheelchair in Los Angeles, is familiar to most of you as Happy Gilmore's grandmother, or Fonzie's grandmother in Happy Days, or the marble rye lady in Seinfeld and you've seen her in Road to Avonlea (for which she won a Gemini Award), The Grifters, The Pit and the Pendulum, Karate Kid, Pee Wee Goes to the Circus, X Files, ALF, Who's the Boss, and a whole lot more...
A movement has been started to have her name memorialized on the Canadian actors Walk of Fame and at least 10,000 names are needed for a petition to have her nominated as an inductee. She is very deserving of this award and I invite you to endorse her and pass it on to your friends and family. Couples can register twice...once for Mr. and once for Mrs.

We had a really bad ice, snow, storm here in NH .... many people with out heat or lights for almost a week; some people are still waiting to get back power - but thanks to all the power companies in the US and Canada, lights are coming back on.
